IoDeposito recognizes the symbolic power of artistic signification, and promotes several cultural projects in order to emphasize both the work of contemporary artists (who are source and harbingers of culture) and the relevance of cultural heritages, as they are roots and witnesses of our historical identity. IoDeposito organizes numerous collective and personal exhibitions of contemporary art. It promotes paths dealing with sensorial art as well as experimentations between art and technology, special events of video art and sound art, performances, talks with artists and curators. Moreover, it creates site-specific interventions in significant sites, related both to history than cultural and natural heritages. In this moment we are particularly eager to deepen the work of artists who have been confronted with the legacies of the contemporary world conflicts, the wars of the XXI century and the colonial wars.
