OThe project was financed by the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, and carried out through the creation of specific macro-actions for the dissemination and dissemination of cultural content related to a new reading of the colonial fact:
MACRO-ACTION 1 – Through this first macro-action of the project, a multimedia edition of the popularization of the Historia India and Occidentalis by Fernández de Oviedo was created, downloadable from our website in the form of an ebook!
We propose this text as a privileged tool for an in-depth study of cultural history and cultural diversity, as it introduces a disenchanted and powerful reflection (by virtue of its symbolic significance) on the outcomes of colonialism, armed conquest and lack of cultural acceptance.
The Harry Ranson Center of the University of Texas Austin hosts one of the most important collections of manuscript and printed texts in the United States and forges scholars who wish to carry out research on this fund with quarterly scholarships. Apart from the richness of the pre-modern heritage, which boasts unique manuscript texts and very rare printed editions of the 16th Century, it also stands out for the diligence with which it invests in the promotion and development of activities useful for the dissemination of humanities in society, organizing readings, conferences, art exhibitions: thanks to Harry Ramson center, we were able to collect the manuscript!
MACRO-ACTION 2 – This action saw the production of a critical edition of the poem by G. Bartolomei, America (1650), which traces the discovery of the Americas with a poly-focal perspective on the cultural diversity, in order to better connect with the contemporary culture of migration and of the comparison between cultures (of which also asylum seekers who have reached our territory) are depositories. The publisher chosen is PROSPERO publisher!
Prospero Editore is specialized in scientific publishing, and, in particular, in literary criticism publications: it can exploit, for this purpose, an editorial staff composed of research doctors and international specialists, who follow the book creation process from the manuscript (subjected to peer review to verify its validity) to the print drafts. The series that will host the volume – entitled Travel and Diversity in «L’America» by Girolamo Bartolomei. Critical essay – it is entirely dedicated to the subject of the work: it is called “The Orbits”, Studies of literary theory, foreign and comparative literature, and, through an international scientific committee, proposes works that advance new critical ideas, revisions of the interpretative paradigms and reading suggestions.
MACRO-ACTION 3 – An hypertaxtual tool that tells the story of cultural diversity starting from the discovery of the Americas, through the images and works of contemporary artists. The digital humanities tool aims to thrill the youth groups, all the artists mentioned in the next phase took part in its realization, in addition to Michal Hustaty, Lenka Kuricova, Estabrak Al Ansari and Neja Tomsic.

Ferreira, Rahel Hegnauer), both a new way of spreading the texts of Fernández de Oviedo and Bartolomei, which were used on the one hand as a “research base” for the exhibition and for the arrangement of the contents, and on the other as a didactic, sound and written apparatus.
The exhibition had about 4,000 visitors and 6 training projects were started for alternazna work-school to work there.
