Artistic activities and projects

The project aims to turn a spotlight on the collective historical memory of specific sites and small communities, through the collection (with contemporary devices, interactive and easy to use) of family and personal memories linked to the century of the ‘900.

The memories will be collected orally, but also in a materical way (photographs, diaries, objects), and they will become the subject of works of art and site-specific artistic actions and exhibition: personal and family memory of each of the members of the community become a part of the collective mosaic of contributions that produce and actively support the creation of the artwork.

‘Memory stations’ to collect the memories, will be designed and installed in accordance with the municipalities, builded by using old phone booths. In these ‘collection points’, people will be able to store items and photographs, as well as voice messages about family memories, especially those related to the recent history of the’ 900 wars (becoming ‘living material’ for the creation of the artwork).
